I'm pretty disappointed by this "remaster". I love the franchise and DS1 was such an awesome experience for me. I'm glad more people will get to play it now. But I still wished they had taken the time to fix and update some things in the game and to really take advantage of the ability pf modern game consoles for the visuals.
Honestly, this is just a port. I feel like nowadays remasters have taken the place of ports.

Agree. It makes sense for other systems but for PC, I have literally no reason to buy it. The community has fixed any issue that the remaster does.
