100% agreed. ISLANDERS is great! Not only is it absolutely beautiful, mechanically solid, and fun to play, but it's also incredibly relaxing too... since despite getting quite challenging the further along you get, it never makes you feel under any intense pressure. The whole experience of playing it was simply a joy, and it's also one of the few games where after I finished playing the main game mode, I even went back and had just as much fun in the creative mode afterwards too.
The "you've never played" part of the title is a bit misleading, though, since this game apparently has 10,000+ reviews. Steamspy estimates 200k-500k owners.

While this complexity can help players sink many dozens of hours into these games it can also throw up a smoke screen where it's hard to pick out which mechanics are the most important.
