My wife's not really into video games at all but loves Stardew Valley for whatever reason so we'll be playing some couch co-op.
Same but for switch. Really excited that a game is putting in local co-op. Feels like that's such a rare thing these days and it makes playing games with my partner so much harder. Elated that...

We play a decent amount and for the most part we don't use the wiki. We look every once in a while to make sure we give people good gifts on their birthdays, but that's more about our desire to be...

Everyone has remarked that your suspicion is wrong (Stardew is a very casual experience), but if you do feel the need for wiki-style help there is a mod, Lookup Anything, that can serve as an in-game reference for basically everything. It also works on modded items/npcs/etc. If you use it you'll almost never feel the need to look at the wiki.
It isn't, unless you're trying to run it real fast. It's pretty good at telling you how to do things. You may want to check occasionally, but as you unlock recipes for things to make it tells you...

Imho, this is the biggest design flaw in the game. After a few seasons, I've decided to play without looking anything up anymore. I'd recommend a mod that lets you know how much your crops will...

I'd recommend a mod that lets you know how much your crops will sell for.
Sheesh, ConcernedApe is really adamant about making me play this game. I've always known I'm gonna buy it, but I also know I'm gonna end up spending way too much time that I can't afford playing it.

(I'm new to the game.) Has anyone successfully run the local co-op mode? I have some PS4 controllers, and they're recognized by other games (e.g. Bastion), but Stardew doesn't recognize them,...
(I'm new to the game.) Has anyone successfully run the local co-op mode? I have some PS4 controllers, and they're recognized by other games (e.g. Bastion), but Stardew doesn't recognize them, other than the touch pad button. There are other people mentioning difficulties as well on the game's Steam forums. I've tried creating a new game with multiple cabins in the options, but it doesn't help.

I kinda wanna play this game, but I get the feeling it’s the kind game people must play with a wiki open at all times. Am I wrong to assume that?
