I was surprised to hear this also coming out on PS4 but looking at it, I can imagine how. Everything looks very sharp and crisp in this PS5 caputre. But I can't see a single pixel on my 1080p TV from couch distance so they can just cut resolution by a factor of 4 and that seems to be the only thing that truly matters. It looks sharp, but it looks like "a videogame", the way games have looked for 10 years, now. Clothing doesn't wrinkle right under arm pits, foliage looks like painted cardboard and during combat, all I see are colorful flashes, anyway.
With the current chip situation, I couldn't buy a PS5 if I wanted to but so far... I'm good.
