    If I was gonna venture a guess why, it's because the lack of socialization knocked out the small-time drug dealers that kids pass to each other.

    This has inspired a research rabbithole I shouldn't go down now: How does teen drug use overall compare between states that have legalized recreational marijuana and those which have not?

    It is an interesting possibility to study "the gateway effect" that DARE has been preaching since the 90s.

      Anecdotally dorms have continued to smell like weed. Possibly more so. (It's not permitted on campus even if someone were of age). We did have someone's parent send them a box of cannabis that the post office and police flagged. But it's not the first time that has happened either. I'd say the use seems like it's up but perception v reality.
