I have had one UTI in my life and it is easily in the top 5 most painful experiences I've ever had. I'm really glad that progress is being made in quick detection and treatment of them.
That's neat to read... after three rounds of antibiotics that haven't fixed the issue, and vague "you have an infection, take pills, bring samples" doctor meetings.
I'm only a little bit sour, I promise!
On a more serious note, i'm always happy to read about advances in medicine! Especially for stuff that used to be days of wait
Buddy of mine went through months of on and off again infection. Finally they treated my buddy's partner at the same time and that was that. It was being passed back and forth with the partner not ever showing any symptoms.
Not the case here, though of course the possibility exists that it's something else in my life and I keep getting infected...
