Fitness Weekly Discussion
What have you been doing lately for your own fitness? Try out any new programs or exercises? Have any questions for others about your training? Want to vent about poor behavior in the gym? Started a new diet or have a new recipe you want to share? Anything else health and wellness related?
I hurt my rotator cuff and recovery for it pisses me off. I feel like I look like an absolute tool doing the stupid stretches and it takes so much time to do all of them. It’s really annoying because it feels like all my attempts to strengthen my extremely weak shoulder don’t do anything except for hurting myself.
I finally got an appointment to see a trainer - set for today no less - and I will talk to him about it to see what I can do about it.
I HIGHLY suggest you continue your stretches without concern for judgement. They do not make you look like a tool. I dislocated my shoulder climbing earlier this year and have since been stretching before every workout and have actually included other pre-workout exercises that really get me properly limber. I thought i was going to have to take a much longer break than i actually did thanks to stretches, my climbing has even improved. I assure you, no one with a brain is judging you for being responsible and trying to rehab your rotator cuff.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I have already been doing it, actually, and just as I was reading your comment earlier I had actually just finished a session with a trainer to help give me exercises to finish up the recovery phase; I already am starting to feel better, and hopefully sometime next week I'll be back to 100%.
That increased triz dose hit me like a freight train. I love popcorn as a snack, SkinnyPop specifically, but when I ate some afterwards it made me sick and made me threw up. It also made me nauseous even thinking about food.
I think what I noticed about GLP’s is if you eat something that makes you feel bad it’ll make you feel worse than usual and for longer. Probably due to the slowed digestion you experience.
