I only started exercising for the first time a couple of months ago. I'm at 3 days per week of mostly cardio (spin class), with the occasional full body workout class. Now that I actually enjoy it I want to get to 5 days per week by adding in some running. But I have bad knees, even at 24, and I'm not sure if that's a good idea.

As someone with bad joints, I found that knee sleeves were particularly helpful for anything that heavily uses the knees - squats, lunges, leg lifts, etc. You may want to look into buying a pair...

I also pretty much recommend to anyone with any joint pain to try out supplementing glucosamine. The kind of glucosamine and what else is supplemented along side it don't really matter a whole lot. I just pick up the cheapest and biggest bottle I can.

I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to lift at all. Gotten in a decent amount of dancing, as usual via clubs/festivals & beat saber. I need to really prioritize some shorter lifting sessions....

I need to really prioritize some shorter lifting sessions. Might be a good way to get in some extra work capacity by doing supersets with minimal resting. I bet I could get in a decent 6 exercise full body under 30 minutes.

      Today was:

      • Bench ss Lat Pulldown (90s seconds rest between exercises)
      • OHP ss Rows (60 seconds rest between exercises)
      • Dips ss Curls (45 seconds between exercises)

It took some time because bench was 7 sets today, but i managed to finish in 50 minutes. Squat days are a little harder, but can be done if you stick to the rest times.

Oh yeah, for sure. But if I'm able to get in 30 minute exercises every day or every other day it's okay if I hit less sets per day to keep it less taxing. This year I've been focusing pretty heavy...

This year I've been focusing pretty heavy on working capacity since my cardio used to be terrible and I've had a shoulder injury so I've had to keep it lighter.
