    This is a pro-trans article, written by a trans-supportive writer. I'm posting it because there's SO MUCH garbage in UK press at the moment and it's important to raise the profile of anything that's trans-inclusive, and also because it cuts through the nonsense to describe what's actually happening: an attack on hard-won rights.

    [These kinds of stories] are aimed at undoing two decades of law that grant people the right to change their legal gender (Gender Recognition Act 2004) and protects them from discrimination if they do or plan to do so (Equality Act of 2010).

    It’s a chilling example of how effective disinfomation is and how easy it is to spread.
