    It’s a subject I feel strongly about because one of my best friends in college was trans and that was the end of her career at the Air Force academy. Our country is struggling to develop a good officer force and it’s a tragedy that we lose people like that but I guess their loss was my gain.

    She bounced back and forth between different projects in the military-industrial complex after we graduated, she worked on this flop

      Seems so strange as it was overturned right before I joined and just a few months ago a gave a talk at a friend's air guard unit about being trans and a vet. On the other hand living in a state...

      Seems so strange as it was overturned right before I joined and just a few months ago a gave a talk at a friend's air guard unit about being trans and a vet. On the other hand living in a state that is making anti trans laws while federal government stands by is scary.
