I recently took one of my favorite photos of my cat, Brimley.
He was rescued from a terrible situation at an abusive breeder who had both of his eyes sewn shut instead of addressing his eye infection so they could keep breeding him. They told me he'd likely lose at least one of his eyes, but ended up making a full recovery and never even needing surgery.
I adopted him when he was 1.5, and he just turned 10!
Thank you for giving him a happier life! That name is so wonderfully appropriate.
Such a handsome man! I'm so glad he found his way out of that horrific situation!
I have two Australian Koolies, Grue and Sitka. I snapped this photo last week and was really pleased with it (I credit the lighting from the intensely foggy weather), but this GIF is perhaps a better depiction of their personalities.

What a gorgeous dog and love the name origin.
We have two new year old doggos, Kegawa, a Great Pyrenees mix, and Mokuton, a Border Collie. We also just got new pullets, and are working our dogs to learn to herd and guard our birds.
Last night, I put two of our chicks on top of our sitting doggo, and one of them just went for a ride when he got up and started wandering around. :)
