    I've heard of Americans or Mexicans commuting across the border, but this seems particularly troublesome as we're now exporting our problem.

    Further, I'd think there are some interesting tax implications, because at least where I work I have to log where I'm working, and simply am not allowed to work where my company has no presence, be it a state or a country, for tax reasons.
