The article brings up good points, but I'm always wary of efforts to make separate men and women's versions of everything. I think it tends to re-enforce the idea that men and women are extremely different from one another, an idea that most people already take to heart way too much in my opinion. Things like "Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman", separate men and women's razors, shampoo made for women vs shampoo made for men all re-enforce this stuff, and it's based on absolutely nothing. A razor is a razor. Hair is hair. There may be slight differences if you aggregate all women and compare it to all men, but on an individual basis there's not much of a difference between men and women in most aspects.
There are obviously some ares where there *are important difference between men and women, especially when it comes to health, but I think any effort to put men and women into separate categories just for the sake of of it needs to be heavily scrutinized first.

Most of your point is well taken, but there are practical differences in what you would want in a safety razor if you're doing a razor for shaving facial hair versus body hair. The contouring and all that is nonsense, but if you're shaving body hair you probably want to make it easier to rinse and clean them off than you would be on the face just because there is so much more surface area to cover. What is a minor hassle when shaving the face compounds when you're shaving two whole legs.

That said, lots of men shave body hair too so there's no reason to do pink and gray packaging to differentiate.

I believe that's actually the same issue. Like you say, there's no "women's" razor, there's a pink tax. Razor is not a good example, but lots of things are a men's version coloured pink and then sold to women, where a women's version would have required different design and not just modified designs.

As a fairly petit woman, I've been told to use the child dosage for some medication, and no surprise they do nothing. I spent a long time thinking over the counter drugs just don't work for me unless I go over the recommended.
