I think Japan is a great example of what happens when you take a culture centered around work discipline to its maximum. It's hard to exactly predict what's going to happen in the long-term if their population numbers keep falling so drastically, but I think it's certainly going to be interesting.

It's actually a pretty general trend, South Korea only managed to be the fastest and most affected due to their exceptional industrial and technological development.

I thought Japan was considered the worst when it came to fertility rates. Man I didn't know South Korea had it even worse.
