I really like this approach. I have been talking about the trend (as opposed to a monotonously increasing function) with my girlfriend who is currently having ups and downs emotionally just yesterday.
I personally have set vague goals to myself before, to more or less success. The season approach sounds like a nice way to try and set different habits.

For me this year I wanted to create more things. I work with a 3D printer and laser cutter a lot and I figured why not make things. Also I am honing my iOS skills more at the moment. And I have made a leather wallet with my girlfriend this week (still work in progress though)

I also want to use my phone less but that’s not really going that well...

Android had a system called Digital Wellness that didn't work so great for me, but changing my Default Browser to Firefox Focus, and having no autocompletes and saved settings between sessions is great for not falling down an internet hole. I also dug up a cheap Fire Tablet I have and made that the device in my room. I still use it more than I should, but it's slow and uncomfortable enough to keep me on track.

I also have to get my girlfriend to set a screentime password for me because I just keep clicking '15 more minutes'

That's the third video on this topic that I'm seeing from educational channels this year. Has there been some new study or an article?
