Celebrating the 30th anniversary of SimCity 2000 with an LGR retrospective review! Historian breaks down Napoleon's battle tactics | Wired

"Love him or hate him, Napoleon is a figure probably unrivaled in modern history." Today Jonathon Riley, a British General and historian, breaks down French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte's most prominent battles and utilized war tactics. From the Battle of the Pyramids to the Battle of Lützen, hear directly from a war expert how Napoleon "weakened" his opponents and led his troops to victory on the battlefield.

Video is a bit too short (only 7 min) for its own topic, but I still found it really interesting, and worth sharing.

I have really been enjoying Cutting Edge Engineering on Youtube:

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=ylqvQFjqCaU

This episode is a pretty good microcosm of the CEE channel--some lathe work, some manual welding, some line boring (sort of a reverse lathe) which he also uses to bore weld new material into the hole before machining it back to spec. But it's worth your time to watch one of the big cylinder rebuild series.

Plus, there is Homeless (the dog) and the shop birds supporting the theory that Kurtis and Karen are actually Disney princesses.

Damn, that was really well done, and might even deserve its own topic, IMO. I'm a bit biased though, since I love watching sword fights, and HEMA. :P
