How does this work? It's surprisingly on point with its tags.

@mycketforvirrad@cfabbro I'm interested in what you think about starting a tag like ai product, or some other tag, as a way to signal "the subject of this topic was built with, or uses, AI" so users can filter those topics without filtering all AI topics?
Something similar to the Brainmade mark, or AI labels:
I mean, if a book on the lists doesn't exist I'll find out in two seconds. I get the criticism but it's not like I'm looking for medical information here. I can deal with mistakes :P

I'm not sure what medical information has to do with anything. I prefer to not engage with anything made with LLMs, and would appreciate a tag so I can filter things built with it/using it.

I merely wanted to clarify that book recommendations are not a sensitive matter requiring utmost precision as it would be the case for providing medical information and advice. In my opinion recommending an inexistent book is not a grave matter as it is unlikely to produce harmful outcomes.
I understand, I’m sorry if I came across as antagonistic: I had tried not to, but as you intuited, this is a subject of great frustration for me. I won’t wax on about the damage AI does both to...

I won’t wax on about the damage AI does both to art and the planet in whole, but will insist it does produce harmful outcomes, even if not in the sense you may have meant (as it would with medical information).
Interesting! I'm guessing this is AI-based: is it using some kind of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) approach? Seemed to work quite well for the couple of cases I tried it in.

Then, I redid the search to see if it was a fluke and it removed Dark Tower and reordered much of the list. If I'd expected that much change I would've made of the order and books but a fun recommender regardless. I'd probably prefer not having the Amazon links but I guess that's a feature many might enjoy.
Cool. It's been a little difficult finding a lot of quality paranoia-inducing possession/replacement sci-fi like The Body Snatchers. It gave some well-known recommendations along with interesting,...
Cool. It's been a little difficult finding a lot of quality paranoia-inducing possession/replacement sci-fi like The Body Snatchers. It gave some well-known recommendations along with interesting, unique suggestions that I haven't encountered before. It is sometimes difficult to evaluate just how much of the theme I seek is actually represent in a book, so those seem like useful.

I added the usual
artificial intelligence
tag.@mycketforvirrad @cfabbro I'm interested in what you think about starting a tag like

Or maybe that's too much work, and just tagging it with the typical
artificial intelligence
tag is good enough?Maybe
tools.ai
? Alongside anartificial intelligence
tag.tools.ai
sounds good to me too. p.s. @paris, you should be able to filter that tag out now, if you want to avoid topics about them in the future.I think that would be fine yeah

Again, I apologize for my rudeness to you.

To be fair, re-reading The Dark Tower is a pretty common pastime for people who have read The Dark Tower.

Oh man, I was hoping for a whimsical web app that would recommend me some actual yogurt. Now I am disappointed.
Have you tried skyr, like Siggi's or Icelandic Provisions? Creamier and a little thicker than greek yogurt.
I don’t eat animal products anymore, but I have had one long ago. I should probably try to make some of my own one of these days….
I hope you're able to make/find a good, vegan alternative, then!
