No love for Ryan Gosling? He's been rock solid for over a decade. Lars and the Real Girl, Drive, Only God Forgives, The Nice Guys, Blade Runner 2049. The man can act!

But my personal favorite of the bunch is Lars and the Real Girl. It's surprisingly sad, and yet also heartwarming, wholesome, and genuine. And while it's funny, it's not really a "zany" comedy despite the ridiculous premise and what the trailers might have you believe.
