The cast is really good too. The story is ok but predicable with a few small surprises.

Honestly, 'fun' is the best way to put it for me. Never played D&D, but I can appreciate all the work they put in to keep it true to form. Very glad I watched it.

It and the Super Mario movie hit the sweet spot of not being too long, not trying to be something more than what they are, and appealing to all ages.

Anyone that has played some DND can probably enjoy the movie and relate to the characters' antics.
