This is a fun movie and better than I expected. I don't have a ton of experience playing D&D but I still understood a lot of the references and easter eggs. Also if you've played fantasy computer games you will know some of the races and places.
The cast is really good too. The story is ok but predicable with a few small surprises.
Honestly, 'fun' is the best way to put it for me. Never played D&D, but I can appreciate all the work they put in to keep it true to form. Very glad I watched it.
