Their reasoning for picking things, and their anecdotes about the movies are also often quite interesting/amusing too.

p.s. Some of the other ones I've watched so far that are also worth checking out: Jason Schwartzman, Luis Guzmán, Patton Oswalt, Charlie Day, and Kyle MacLachlan.

A more left field choice, but Hideo Kojima did one and basically only picked lesser known 50s and 60s Japanese cinema.

I am kinda surprised he picked Kurosawa's High and Low instead of Dreams though, since some of the sequences in Dreams have a very Kojima feel to them. Especially The Blizzard scene, which I'm pretty sure directly inspired some of the elements/scenes in Death Stranding. :P

My favorites are the Barry Jenkins, Paul Dano, Jon Waters, and Edgar Wright. Theres also a French version of this that’s just in a DVD store. Heres the one with Taika but they recently did one...

p.s. There is also a record store version as well: Amoeba Music's What's in my bag? series, which I've also posted a few times to Tildes.
