I saw it in theathers recently and I enjoyed it. It's definitely very whimsical and you have to engage with it on its level, but it's a very imaginative and well directed film. I think it could've used one less song or so but I'm not the biggest musical fan and this is a musical so take that criticism with a grain of salt.
I enjoyed just how unabashadly non-sensical it was.

I saw the new film in the cinema recently; it's certainly a fun experience to just switch one's brain off and see a story vaguely about Willy Wonka. I don't know if I'd recommend that anybody rush to see it while it's still showing, but it's hard to leave it with any regret!
My wife and I both enjoyed it. It was overall pretty light hearted which we both needed. It was also our first movie at Alamo Drafthouse so that was special in itself.

I saw it with my som during Christmas and thought I’d was fine. When the credits rolled my son turned to me and said “That was awesome, dad”…so that settled it. It’s awesome.

This is the first movie to hit this mark since Barbenheimer fyi.

Has anybody here seen it? Is it any good? Curious how Chalomet stacks up against both Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp.

It’s a direct prequel to the Wilder film.

I liked it a lot.
