This is how I feel. Admittedly I haven't kept up with all of the recent ones, but I remember watching the first Jurassic World and being completely underwhelmed. It seemed like there was no real plot. The plot revolved around people making the absolute worst, most nonsense decisions they could make in order for the plot to drive forward. I just couldn't get into the movie because it felt like none of the characters were making believable decisions.
Not to mention that if you found an abandoned vehicle that hasn't been started or maintained in 15+ years, it's definitely not starting up right away...
