That game is a treat, whether it be the atmosphere, characters, NYC setting, and wild gameplay mechanics and crazy imagery.
I thoroughly loved it and let's not forget mr. Mike Patton as the voice of the Darkness is perfect.
I will be playing the second one soon as she also recommended it.
In the meantime I'm playing through Halo 3 ODST for the first time as well and loving it. I played through Halo 1-4 recently and didn't care for 4 but 3 stood out as my second favorite under 1.
ODST is quickly taking that spot. Along with Reach which I need to finish too. That also will end up high up on my Halo ranking list.

TBR is practically done. I just need to do final vocal takes. The ones on my current mix were recorded very late night so couldn't get them where I want them yet in that moment.
Dai The Flu is also almost done. Simply vocals are left to do.
Then I have to figure what moniker to release these under. There will be some originals to follow as well.
A little backstory of me. I've been playing guitar, singing, and songwriting since I was 12 or 13 so about 26 years now. I also play bass and can do a bit on a kit.
Played in bands in HS, after, and then acoustic gigs until hanging it up. I always continued writing and recording though in the hundreds of songs only a small handful were good IMO.
Now I've been reinvigorated, my playing and writing is in full swing, and better than ever. Same with my singing. So I'm coming back and starting with these covers. Then originals and hopefully a newly formed band at some point. I will hopefully do some acoustic gigs with a friend in the extreme near future.

Those elements are just so bad it kills all enjoyment for me.
I'm also a fan who doesn't care for Death Magnetic or the majority of Hardwired. It feels like a terrible three album run to me and their lowest period. They reoriented and nailed it on the newest however. And I love absolutely everything pre Anger. All of it.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 - Just a fun melodic solid soundtrack that perfectly compliments the visuals and gameplay of this 16bit classic.

Comix Zone - as far as I understand this soundtrack was composed with live instruments but then redone for the Genesis sound chip. The synthesized alternative rock sound just hits a sweet spot for me.

Or at least a bunch of the great ones to start off with and it'll fit nicely within your budget. The graphics are outdated but he's not going to know or care and can enjoy countless hours of gaming fun on the cheap.
I'm still collecting the cream of the crop for both consoles and I can find them easily online and even locally at pawn shops and Goodwill etc.

I work at a gym so I have to pick up weights people leave behind plus going around and cleaning/maintaining the entire 40,000 square foot building. Lots of potential for sweating.
On my days off I'll do any chores and grasscutting etc then shower and be good for the day. I hate feeling dirty so this system hasn't failed me yet.

Fill your bathtub if you have one (flushing toilets/basic washing). Probably too late to stock up on non perishable foods or water. If you have any containers you can fill with tap water I'd recommend it. Even if you end up not really affected it never hurts to be prepared even in the most basic ways.

That said if an when the X-Men are properly brought in the fold I'll see how that goes. Anything Spiderman gets my attention as well. They are knocking that out of the park.
This is all coming from someone who used to read all the comics and followed the MCU almost religiously.

We certainly don't fully. But we already have concepts and theories of wormholes for example. They may use those mundanely like we use cars and subways etc hypothetically.
And I saying I believe this is what is happening? No, but is it impossible? There's no way to be sure of anything yet.
But it does beg the question that if this is the case why would they bother observing or visiting us? Is life potentially extremely rare in the universe and that makes us interesting? Or is it more common than we can currently conceive of and this is like us going to a remote region just to see what flora and fauna is there for documenting purposes? That's still making human based assumptions like you've pointed out of course.
All I can say is given we can only understand and observe so much of the universe and it's workings it doesn't make sense to discount the possibility (not saying you are, just those that are) at the very least. So I remain in the middle until more facts and evidence are presented.

I'm always glad to rep a great film. I've never heard of Brainscan and will have to check that out. Added to my list lol.
That is a trip to see as it was just flittering about in the background and just got swallowed up into what's heading my way right now. It's looking like we'll be to the left of the eye so there's some relief there. I've lost count of the number of hurricanes I've encountered so this one will be added to the pile. Hopefully it isn't devastating to anyone in it's path. Acadiana is ready though.
