Nominate for "Movie of the Week" in April - Female leads

I do think our list of movies is turning out to be a pretty good list of solid movies, it it a bit male heavy. I hope we can find 5 movies for April that has a female substantial leading role.

The Silence of the Lambs starring Jodie Foster
I want to see this classic again that gave Jodie Foster her second Oscar.
I'll take the opportunity to throw in one of my favourite films, Aliens (1986), starring Sigourney Weaver in arguably her most iconic role.
I’ll throw in Run Lola Run (1998). The cinematography, direction, and soundtrack all fit so well.
I saw that a couple of years ago and while I don't think I fully got it at the time, it occasionally pops into my head because it was such an unique film. Would love to give it a go again.
I’ll go with Moonstruck where Cher is the lead character. I considered this my favorite movie throughout college and it’s really funny and really entertaining. It also stars a 23 year old Nicolas Cage as Cher’s love interest.
Promising Young Woman is a 2020 thriller starring Carey Mulligan which I saw recently without knowing much about it. It is outstanding, unsettling, and sadly timely. Mulligan is terrific, and Bo Burnham has a supporting role in the movie and kills it. I think there would be good conversation generated from this one.
Great suggestions all around. Schedule for April:
Atomic Blonde starring Charlize Theron as an undercover MI6 agent in 80's Berlin during the Cold War.
I think this review from Letterboxd describes the movie very well:
There's also that one tiny franchise with a well-liked male actor that this movie gets compared to pretty often, but I won't do that. I think Atomic Blonde stands on its own without comparisons.
It gets those comparisons cause David Leitch was co-Director on the first John Wick.
Anyways I like Leitch a lot. He’s a vulgar auteur like Michael Bay. I like Deadpool 2 and Bullet Train a lot and I’m reallly looking forward to The Fall Guy.
The comparison to Michael Bay is really good!
Both make movies with a certain look and they know what kind of movies they want to do and are good at. Not everyone has to like their movies, but they make everything their own.
