Big fan of Chrissy and the old Yellowcard albums, and I think this whole cover album is pretty fun, especially because we haven't had a Punk Goes... album in a while.

I've been really enjoying the songs off this album! Magnolia Park's I2I may be my favorite so far. It did inspire me to yank up a whole pop punk Disney playlist on Spotify for an afternoon.

It's interesting how most folks (e.g. NFG, Simple Plan) really leaned in to their punk/emo sound, and some (e.g. BOYS LIKE GIRLS) tried to do a more earnest cover of the originals.

Hmm. I’m not a fan of Disney song covers in general - and this is no exception - but I found some of the creative decisions to be interesting. The vocals are very notably processed in some places,...

I listened to a lot of Yellowcard back in the day and did not know that! are you usually looking up these things when you tag or did you just know that off the dome?

I've been seeing a lot of good pop punk covers in general recently, I've been really missing the punk pop stuff from my childhood lol.
Oh we are absolutely being marketed to. A lack of Good Charlotte is the only thing missing off this 😅

I’ll never sleep on We The Kings (or Hercules, for that matter)! I haven’t listened to the LOLO track yet I’ll give it a listen!

With bands in ~music I usually always utilise Wikipedia so I can copy and paste the location, guaranteeing a typo free experience.
appreciate you answering my questions, thank you for your work as always!
No worries! I'm always around for queries and fixes.
