The seated red-vs-white throwdown is my favorite part.
Also, I listened to the song on its own, and it felt emptier than it does on the video. I think the choreo is so good that it really electrifies the whole thing and gives it a much punchier feel.
Definitely agree! My friend first mentioned this song to me as I haven't really been on top of new music much for the last few years, and she couldn't decide if she liked it at first. She had...

She had listened to it before seeing the music video and I think that made all the difference, because my jaw almost dropped watching that red-and-white throwdown scene for the first time.

That was great! I love seeing the choreo without the camera cuts. I also love the four bars where they just pause with their legs out. 😆 The new album drops THIS FRIDAY!

Strike a yoga pose! Look fierce! Hold. Hooold. Hoooooold. Okay, cut! :P Yeah, I'm looking forward to it too. Although just like Billie Eilish, I much prefer Gaga's live and stripped-back stuff to...

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it too. Although just like Billie Eilish, I much prefer Gaga's live and stripped-back stuff to her studio albums. At least with a new album out I can look forward to lots of new live performances (and dance choreo vids) of the various new tracks too though.
This is like old-school, OG Lady Gaga. Saw some of the YT comments said like Artpop and The Fame Monster combined, which I agree 100%. Love it. And others have you said, the choreography is top...

And others have you said, the choreography is top notch. Love when she's the Lady in Red, around 2:25, dancing like an old woman, all the way through about 3:15!
Interesting; hadn't viewed it that way before, but I could see it. How I saw it, and what I think the intention was, was playing like the stereotypical old witch lady. Hence the name of the song...

How I saw it, and what I think the intention was, was playing like the stereotypical old witch lady. Hence the name of the song and the lyrics. The witch is casting a spell to dance or die and all that. In a similar vein to the Phantom of the Opera references.

The scream she does before the music returns is so raw. You feel it! After that, the expression on her face in the last few frames is just dead.
It's truly so well done. I've watched it once or twice, ha.
Perfection 😭 nothing more to say It's been a very long time since I listened to more than a handful of songs from an album. Zombieboy is an addictive disco-esque bop

Perfection, indeed! Not a subpar track on it, IMO. My fave (besides Abracadabra) was Don't Call Tonight. I love the 80s vibe of it. p.s. Zombieboy took me by surprise though, since the beginning...

p.s. Zombieboy took me by surprise though, since the beginning of it sounds so much like Hollaback Girl. :P
Posted this purely for how well done the choreography is. Easily one of the best music videos produced in recent years IMO.
Definitely great choreography! And good song too although I had a jumpscare towards the end lol
You haven't been following Jungle's music videos!
This was outstanding, but Jungle's choreography is second to none.
Visually STUNNING.
Also this song makes me want to go to a gay club for the first time in like, fifteen years.

BTW, one of my favorite choreographers, Brian Friedman (who was also actually one of the dancers in the music video), just released a video of his students dancing to this song... which is why I came back to the watch the original once again for the millionth time too. :P

To be honest, the “old woman” segments left me very uncomfortable. It came across as a mocking pastiche of disability.

Absolutely ADORE it. The visuals, the electro, the lyrics. This is Gaga in its purest form.
Thanks for the link!
