Goo Goo Dolls have always been a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. Their songs are pretty cheesy, and were overplayed as hell when I was growing up. And they have always been kinda regarded as "uncool", but I still enjoy listening to them and singing along to their songs.
p.s. I'm glad to see John Rzeznik is still rocking his signature highlighted, feathered hair. :P

I also enjoy the Goo Goo Dolls as something of a guilty pleasure. It was the first real concert I went to, with my dad and brother! I still think about how many guitars they had backstage sometimes.
Edit: Following up now that I've watched the first song (which was, in fact, Slide!). I'm actually a bit stunned at how good they sound. Rzeznik really sounds just as good as he did when I saw him like 17 years ago. I will have to watch the rest to see if he makes it through the whole gig without forgetting any verses 😅

Also, that backstage photo is crazy! Some of the comments in the reddit post were really interesting reads too, and I'm glad to see so many people there pushing back on other people hating on the band. So thanks for sharing that. :)
