Au contraire, mon frère.... Am Canadian, love Rush, and still thought this was awesome! At 33rpm, Geddy almost sounds like Ozzy. :P

I can't stand Geddy's voice and so can't stand Rush. This however, is enjoyable.

E.g. Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, The Tragically Hip (RIP Gordo), Bryan Adams, Gordon Lightfoot, etc.

Does Matthew Good's voice grate on anyone's nerves? I think his voice is awesome. If I had to add a more contemporary artist to the list, it would be Our Lady Peace. Or even more modern, Billy...

p.s. Love love love all three of those bands regardless though.

He does, and the slowed down instruments sound very Sabbath-esque. I guess if someone's out there wanting more Sabbath in their life, just slow Rush down to 33 rpm :D

This reminds me of an album that came up in my YouTube recommendations a while ago. I started listening to it as a joke but it really appealed to me after a bit. Chipmunks On 16 Speed - Sludgefest...

Point of order: if you have it on LP it's already at 33rpm.
