They have the US in their back pocket. As long as the evangelicals hope to have Jerusalem restored so their rapture can happen they'll support Israel regardless of what they do

I think this is a simplistic view/scapegoat of why Israel/US relations aren't going anywhere. While these people do exist, you could erase them tomorrow and the country would still back Israel...

I don’t think so. News like this will always be reported on, and the war in Ukraine isn’t get getting enough coverage nowadays to drown out coverage of other stories. It seems hard to say how much...

The war in Ukraine doesn't really affect Israel so much because, like @skreba said, we never cared about what the world thought. Hell, we threatened to escalate to nuclear ordinance in Yom Kippur, which would have been a disaster on so many scales.
It's frustrating. On an individual level, the conflict really does feel hopeless. The most I can really do is advocate for peace online and in protests, but that has historically done nothing, and as the days pass I care less and less about the fate of this place.

Maybe, but I never got the impression Israel really cares what anyone else thinks about what they do.
