    I grew up in VA (arguably more diet South), but lived in Colorado for most of my 20s. The girl I dated while I was out there was always so annoyed at me saying hi to everyone. I can't help it, Megan!

    I actually spent five years stationed at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs (was an enlisted medic in the hospital there). When you become a sergeant, you have to go through this six-week course called ALS and I did mine down at Peterson. There were a couple cops from Cheyenne Mountain in my class and they had some funny stories about people trying to sneak in to see the Stargate. There was one family that came all the way from Sweden and climbed over the backside of the mountain to get on base. They got arrested and deported for that little stunt.

    Never did get inside the mountain myself though.

    Was never really a Star Wars or Star Trek guy, but I spent 20 years in the Air Force because of this franchise. I'm fucking stoked.
