Weekly Israel-Hamas war megathread - week of April 15
This thread is posted weekly - please try to post all relevant Israel-Hamas war content in here, such as news, updates, opinion articles, etc. Extremely significant events may warrant a separate topic, but almost all should be posted in here.
Please try to avoid antagonistic arguments and bickering matches. Comment threads that devolve into unproductive arguments may be removed so that the overall topic is able to continue.

Sources are calling these Mass Graves, I have seen videos of them and it seems like they were buried, god only knows what happened there...
Israeli war cabinet to hold third meeting on response to Iran's attack (Reuters)
There are other news articles interpreting this as indecision or internal disagreement about what to do. It doesn’t seem like anyone who knows is talking?
It's an inherently awkward situation. On the one hand they managed to shoot down basically everything. On the other it was a very serious attempt and took assistance from multiple allies (some who are less than certain).
Most of the world doesn't want Israel to escalate, and god knows hitting an embassy is "starting something", but I'm very curious how the average citizen feels about retaliation after that attack.
Continuing the “what should we rename this topic” discussion, perhaps “Middle East conflict megathread” would be suitably general, given recent news with Iran?
I agree, "Middle East conflict" makes sense. It's beyond just a war with Hamas, but not quite open war across the middle east. Hopefully it doesn't turn into the Isreal-Iran War.
Edit: typo
I would, on the other hand, argue that it seems there is no longer a need for a thread about it? Maybe it's for ease of moderation? Because they get very little attention usually: https://i.imgur.com/7KMTlI4.png
I like having a place to post things without grabbing too much attention. Maybe biweekly, though.
