Summary of where we are so far:

Thomas Hofeller was a Republican strategist who helped implement the wave of gerrymandered districts following the 2010 elections.

Several of those maps have since been overturned in court due to evident racial bias.

Hofeller's daughter inherited a hard drive full of gerrymandering files. These files show that racial bias was the intent all along, despite Republican claims to the contrary.

North Carolina Republicans fought to keep these documents from the public. Some have been released through court filings.

Now Thomas Hofeller's daughter has released all of the documents for public viewing.

And the daughter is an anarchist. This is an act of true praxis.

The headline was a bit confusing. I thought the daughter was deceased and this was some kind of "With my dying breath, I stab at thee!" thing.

They should have gone with "Daughter Of Deceased GOP Strategist..." to avoid that issue, IMO.

Yeah, I wrote one that was slightly different but figured I'd go with the NPR headline with one extra word for clarity. I see what you mean though!
