Funny enough everyone I know in the states that works for TikTok was looking forward to severance pay. The US employees have been in a state of impending shut down so they've been completely checked out. I know someone that had a meeting in London and decided to tack on a month long trip across Europe while "working" at the same time. HBO's Silicon Valley is a documentary, not satire.
A somewhat interesting reversal, given that he tried to ban it in his term. Maybe some quid pro quos under the table? Or maybe he just realizes that Republicans are much better at non-traditional...

It makes me doubt the 20% tariffs. There probably will be tariffs, but not 20%.
This could arguably be in tech, although there’s nothing really to do with tech specifically.
He flipped back in like, March when some billionaire who owns 15% of Bytedance talked with him. I still think the whole law was stupid, but I don't want him attempting to overturn it out of hand...
