IMO soccer/futbol is one of the most boring sports to watch on TV but the highlights are undeniably amazing. It's incredible to me how accurate and powerful even their normal kicks can be, so how they also manage similar accuracy/power when a ball is flying that fast past them in the air, above their heads, while doing a backwards flying kick and hitting it towards the net behind them... what? how is that even possible?

Going to a live match is quite the opposite of watching it on TV though. I've only had the pleasure of going to a live professional match in the UK twice when I was living there but they were both an absolute blast thanks to the atmosphere and insanely enthusiastic, passionate crowds. The chanting and singing made it impossible not feel drawn in to the games and I even got frisson moments a few times when they home team scored. A++ would go again.

Now baseball, on the other hand, is boring as shit to watch on TV and even the mass quantities of alcohol and concession food can't make watching live tolerable. :/
