One part I particularly enjoyed was the wake from the wet car, the amount of aero work going on with F1 cars is bonkers.

Yes, like they also say in the video, it really captures the speed of the cars way better than most tv coverage is able to at the moment.

I started drinking redbull during my long runs, for fuel, so their advertising is working, haha. This video was extremely fun. I would love to have the experience and setup to custom-make a drone!

What a perfect visualization of the 'dirty air' problem that's been so prevalent in F1 lately. Thanks for sharing!

I'm spoiled now. I demand every race to be shown from ultra-highspeed dronecam. That was incredible to see. And you actually "feel" the speed, which all the typical camera cuts really don't do.

I kid, but yeah the safety issue alone is a huge deal. One of those crashes onto the track, or even into spectators...yikes. It was probably hard enough keeping it out of the dirty, unstable air of one car. Now put 20 cars on track!

Hopefully they keep developing it though. Longer battery life and all that. Idk if there's ever a way to make it really safe, but man, it'd be awesome to have more of those shots.

I'd love to see a hot lap of the Isle of Man TT covered this way, the sense of speed from this type of footage would be impressive. Unfortunately that's unlikely to happen due to the course length...

I'd love to see a hot lap of the Isle of Man TT covered this way, the sense of speed from this type of footage would be impressive. Unfortunately that's unlikely to happen due to the course length and the very high probability of the drone ending up in a tree (or someone's house) but even some sections of it could be fun to watch.

My favorite part of this challenge was when they needed to squeeze that last bit of performance out of the new drone and said "okay, well how about we leverage some of the millions of dollars of equipment and R&D that Max is also using and just go to the teams that design the car?"

I have no interest in auto racing and no interest in drones, but I enjoyed that whole video. Too cool!
