Well, unfortunately for me and my business partner, the COVID-19 situation has basically destroyed any chance one of our apps we're developed has any chance of earning a meaningful profit in the next 3 months, and possibly longer, as it targeted one of the most affected industries—events and functions. This is really frustrating and heartbreaking, as we've poured months of work into this, and were basically so close to going into a closed beta.

Three months might not sound a long time, after all, the fundamentals of the app are still strong, and the world will recover, but we're both full-time on this—we don't have other work to provide income to keep us above water in the interim. Suddenly, 3 months looks like an incredibly long timespan to bridge.

Luckily for us, we have other apps in very different markets planned (in fact, it was a very different app we started working on in the first place)—but they are not nearly as close to completion as the aforementioned one; so we're now going to have to pour focus into two apps, and push out our timeline for any sort of income for several months. It's incredibly demoralising.

Not a whole lot, but I recorded a video: Hang On Little Tomato (accordion).

Nice. Thanks for sharing. I've been using this time to practice guitar and my fingers hurt just to wash dishes lately.

Yesterday I went out to eat in a field, near the forest. I was a bit late so I had to hurry up but I managed to catch the sunset. There's a lot of birds there and the light was beautiful. I made some kind of Indian dishes, it was still warm, I also had a little bit of red wine. Eating that while watching the sunset, sitting in the grass was super nice, got me out of myself for a little while.

I took some blurry pictures :

'Didn't do' is more appropriate, mostly internet things. Son is out of school. I'm off work. Most places are closed but as mentioned, I have got back into trying to play acoustic guitar. I'm starting off playing chorded songs, is this recommended or should I learn more single-note songs? Chords seem more filling and fun to play and I mostly just play as an excuse to sing. Man, those bridged chords, I hate them so much and my fingers won't stretch like they should on some chords.

The first "fun" thing I was able to play was that riff from Electric Wizard. There's couple of songs that just have a main riff that you can sing along (e.g. https://youtu.be/vvMMEX_7Dlw?t=15) but chords will give you access to much more songs, since most pop songs are based around chord progressions.
