Beyond IMGUR, what image hosts are the hotness these days for when we want to share our dogs / pizzas / pc builds here on Tildes?

        I saw someone send an envs.sh link on matrix actually a while back and that led me to discover it along with their matrix instance which i now switched to, blazing fast compared to the official...

      yupp me too, its nice to have that and the paste app all quickly available and at least the url is a little fun lol.

    I’ve started just using discord for my image share… half the images I upload I want to share to discord anyways and the other half I upload to a private channel for this purpose.

    I know it’s terrible. I’m sure there’s privacy issues, there’s no way discord is going to be able to supply unlimited storage indefinitely (although I’ve never seen them kill an image link in 7 years, oddly), it’s not really fair to them because this isn’t their business model…. But it works and I don’t need to keep track of yet another website or app and account.

    I ended up rolling my own on my Dreamhost PS using this script which allows uploading with cURL. I have the actual upload page simple auth'd to keep others out. Sorry.
