    From what I can tell, no information about Google Gemini has been released since there was a vague announcement many months ago. In the information vacuum, there are only low-quality articles like this one speculating about it, I guess because it's a keyword that works well for them?

    (Someone please speak up if I'm wrong.)

      The amount of fluff on the internet is pretty crazy.

      Regarding AI, if the model is not available, public or paid, it might as wel not exist at all.

      ChatGPT, Copilot, Stable Diffusion are all useful and are being used, even though the performance might not always be perfect. Users don’t really care about the benchmarks.

        I wouldn’t go that far because research papers about unreleased models are still interesting to read. Researchers aren’t normally required to release software.

        In this case, though, there’s very little known, so we might as well wait until Google finishes whatever they’re doing.
