I think "identified" is doing some heavy lifting - as well as "in Search" - like, they've got the backend but they're just going after the stuff they can find on search. It's literally under the rug.
Over the last few weeks, a dedicated team of moderators, leveraging AI, has made Telegram Search much safer. All the problematic content we identified in Search is no longer accessible

Hard to say. Given there’s probably a reason they’re doing this I wouldn’t be surprised if there were people making sure they got what they wanted from it
