    I appreciate the insights shared it this video and it's more poignant having lived through that time. A discussion I have been having this past week is the walkability of places and the lack there of in the United States. One topic was that we create our own sanctuaries in the suburbs and lately technology helps keep connections. While I think that can be true in some form (gaming) the Internet and social platforms do feel lonely, unmemorable, and endless.

    I’m so thankful this was the internet I had as a child, it saved me from the horrors I couldn’t escape in real life. My heart aches for the youth of today who will never be able to access what once was.
