FWIW I have had a Twinkie account for years. I hadn’t used it in a while but needed a phone number again yesterday. I went to reenable my account to buy the number and hook it up to my Twilio...
FWIW I have had a Twinkie account for years. I hadn’t used it in a while but needed a phone number again yesterday. I went to reenable my account to buy the number and hook it up to my Twilio lambda function.
Twilio demanded I validate my identity and my business with Persona. Nope not a chance. Instead I went with OVH VoIP which is European, don’t demande id validation, and doesn’t use US providers.
Probably not much in the grand scheme of things, but I was 100% going to use Twilio until they wanted to share my id with persona/palantir.
An important topic, but can I nitpick a little bit...I didn't learn anything from this video. What did his 8-month rabbit hole lead him to? Feels like the TL;DW is "I met this cool guy and read...
