    I have been using redditp often since its creation and found it to be an ideal way to surf around a few image-focused corners of the internet. Not counting niche communities, I'm sure Tildes would agree: the comments below your average Reddit image or text post left something to be desired. Transforming reddit into a gallery prevented the colorful commentary or snark or thoughtless quips from diluting an otherwise quality contribution to an internet community.

    I wholeheartedly agree with the dev's sentiment below

    I liked showing friends cool stuff on the internet, but browsing is a real conversation killer. You can't lean back, talk, and have fun with people while operating a website. I wanted a hands-free reddit mode.

    What did you enjoy about redditp? What alternatives would you consider, if any?

      I quit reddit cold turkey when the redditisfun app quit working, but in the past I did use redditp quite a bit. Early on when practically everything was a static image hosted in imgur it worked...

Early on when practically everything was a static image hosted in imgur it worked really well, but later on when we had lots of gif and webp and mp4 files hosted on a variety of sites it would struggle to display everything properly, at least in my experience.

      I did at one point find another site www.redditpx.com which promised to solve a lot of these issues but I don't know that it ever worked properly for me. I also don't know if the projects are related, I never did any digging, I was just a clueless end user.

      I think I enjoyed for much the same reasons as a lot of other redditors lol. It's sad to see this go because it really is a great idea. I just used it for basic scrolling, so I didn't have much...

      I figured this would happen eventually because of the API change, but still sucks to see it go
