    The title makes me think that the writer is for the bill, but the content makes me think otherwise. I guess they were trying to be neutral but still pull people in with a clickbait-y title? All in...

    All in all this article is very light in details. Basically a single paragraph about two controversial articles (of the bill), a mention of who's for and against and a few quotes.

    I for one am glad it did not pass in it's current state. They were overreaching and trying to censor the internet. When people like Tim Berners-Lee and Jimmy Wales are against a tech bill, you know you should think twice about the content.

    Going after individuals using copyrighted material for non-profit purposes is a losing battle and one that doesn’t make sense.

    Companies that use copyrighted material for profit purposes get called out fairly quickly for it and punished, if they can be.(if they are in a country that gives a shit about EU or US IP)
    IMO, people who don’t understand how the internet works put together a stupid bill that a lot of companies with power behind them don’t want.
