Yes, I understand that, but removing him from a platform puts up a barrier that millions of people are too lazy to go around. While the podcast will still be available, no Apple users will stumble across it by chance while casually browsing for something to listen too, which should significantly reduce new listeners.
I've never watched or listened to an episode of any of his shows. Does he actually spew hate speech? Or is harassment included in the hate speech guidelines of these companies?
Apple confirmed that it notified Jones of the decision to remove the five shows under its hate speech guidelines earlier this weekend.

He is a ghoulish, hateful cretin and I'm happy that these companies are finally removing this garbage from their platforms.
He hasn't explicitly called for violence, so far as I know, but he does get extremely excited and happy when it happens to groups he doesn't like, such as all Moslems. It seems pretty clearly hate...

It seems pretty clearly hate speech, at least to me.

Apple/Facebook/Spotify/YouTube has had plenty of reasons to ban him before, including his continuous lies, his selling of questionable supplements, and his harassment campaigns. They chose not to, instead banning him for hate speech. I'm not sure that sends the right signal, and it might be possible for Jones to make his way back into their services if his hate speech wasn't overt.

Wow, I didn't know about the harassment of the parents. That is utterly abominable.
