I know a few tiny chunks of communities that'll be disappointed to hear this, but hopefully this is for the best. G+ has always been on life support. Even being hamfisted into YouTube and Blogger and wherever else they could stuff it, it wasn't enough for it to go anywhere even though it has the single biggest user base of any social network.
But now that it's been stuffed into everything, what happens to all that interconnected stuff when G+ shuts down? Are they just essentially removing the dedicated G+ layer in between everything? Because IIRC, right now even things like uploads/comments on YouTube and reviews on Google Play are shown or stored or something as G+ posts, at least some of the time.
