/pol/ indisputably at the top? And this doesn't even account for all the /pol/-bait spilling over onto other boards. I kind of thought /r9k/ would be a bit higher, but I guess my estimate of that was a bit inaccurate. /lgbt/ is also.... a bit higher than expected? But I've never really stuck on that board for more than a few minutes across several years so, my expectations might not be the most reasonable.
Also:
4chan average:
~819k posts/day
this bit is pretty much definitive proof for the small subset of people who still hold onto the "sekrit club" thing that it no longer holds up. Unless that's like 200 people making thousands of posts a day across tens of boards.
Honestly that's not unreasonable. I wouldn't be surprised if it was something like 1k people making ~800 posts a day for the most part. 4chan's style of communication is light and quick;...

4chan's style of communication is light and quick; conversational, even. You're not supposed to spend minutes typing something, and you can easily make 50 posts in a single thread without even thinking about it.
Shocked to see /b/ that high nowadays. In my mind that board has been mostly abandoned, but I guess I'm wrong. It's weird, two of my main boards (/vr/ and /lit/) feel roughly around the same level...

It's weird, two of my main boards (/vr/ and /lit/) feel roughly around the same level of activity, but /lit/ is ahead by a lot. I think /vr/ might just have less white noise that I tune out.
Certainly not anymore. Within 4chan it's a joke and outside of it /pol/ is the thing that you're more likely to know and see scary articles about in currentyear. /b/ is still riding off the high...

/b/ is still riding off the high of raids and shit they did 10 years ago, and you can tell by going there...it's pathetic. I suppose they keep up activity because of the /r/4chan crowd.
doesn't everyone hate /pol/ right now? everyone keeps talking about the /pol/ and /r9k/ invasion likes its about to be the death of the site. there's a difference between being obscene and being...

Compared to reddit's 2.8 million comments per day it's surprisingly comparable.

If there's any board more popular than /b/ its a clear sign we have a problem
Hah, my favourite board (/n/ Transport) is one of the least active.

/b/ is the cornerstone of 4chan. it's the reason the rest of the internet knows that 4chan even exists.

Oh, I didn't say it was good! /pol/ is absolutely everything wrong with 4chan right now, but it's also a powerhouse of activity and relevance.
