    This is a journalist test-drive review of Harley's new LiveWire, first chance journalists have had to try it out. I guess it's not exactly news to people who follow electric vehicle news, but for me, at least, H-D is one of those bedrock bastions of big-block, gasoline-powered machines, and this release feels like a watershed moment in the gas-to-electric revolution, as significant (perhaps only in hindsight) as any of Tesla's releases.

      It has the vibe of a nice little café racer and would also be more bike than I would need (not that my wife will ever allow me to get one). I'm surprised how much I like the design of it which, I'm guessing, means most of the old-school Harley fans must hate it. :-p

      Based on this video it actually sounds pretty decent. It's kind of like an industrial air conditioning unit spinning up, it conveys some sense of "power" but without rattling everyone's windows.
