[Chrome 82, 2020Q2] Deprecate FTP support

    I'm actually fine with this. Ftp sites can easily serve files via https. There is zero reason for ftp today. For uploads, sftp (not ftps, or ftp over tls) should be used instead.

      I switched over to Firefox when Quantum was released, but was a Chrome user before that. And yes, I use FTP rather frequently in Firefox to connect to my webserver, even though I have a proper FTP...

      I switched over to Firefox when Quantum was released, but was a Chrome user before that. And yes, I use FTP rather frequently in Firefox to connect to my webserver, even though I have a proper FTP client as well, since it's often quicker and more convenient to just use the browser. So this just furthers my resolve to not go back to Chrome.

      Although TBH Firefox is not without its faults either, and if Tridactyl (which I use) disappears from Firefox I may just switch to Waterfox or some other fork.
