It will be a significant setback to our capability to sense weather. Right now, our forecasts are accurate about a week-out. In areas where 5G is deployed this accuracy falls to 2 days. :(

I think this article explains things very approachable. Especially mentioning that those frequencies have already been used before. I hate how every time a new technology appears people have to be adamant on it being bad. I had some fliers lying around from people that handed them out in my city, claiming 5g kills insects. I sadly don’t have it anymore or I could upload it. Maybe if I see them again.

If you’d like to upload that poster with an image link it’d make for an interesting artifact when everyone knows 5G is safe. I agree this article was very approachable, although when I got to the comparison of the EME spectrum to Australian destinations I was a little shocked as I wasn’t paying attention when I suddenly got to “Remember, you need to get all the way to Sydney before you’re actually in danger from ionizing radiation.” and had to backtrack a bit.
