Can you elaborate on how you live without a cell phone? I'm interested, how do you communicate with people in long distance? What do you tell to your friends? :)

I’ve also been considering YouTube premium lately because I can’t avoid ads on my iPhone/iPad and I really hate ads. Especially the ones where they clean ears, or pornographic ads

streaming music on youtube from mobile is an uphill battle. youtube has a lot of functionality dedicated to making it inconvenient to stream music from a phone (since they want you to buy youtube music). If your phone screen shuts off or leaves the youtube app, the music will stop. Your friend might be able to get around this by opening youtube in his browser and setting it to desktop mode.
Personally, I would recommend your friend find a new way of playing music. Paying for a streaming service would likely be the most effective and require the least effort. He could also purchase songs and download them to his phone; download youtube videos on his computer and transfer them to his phone; or get a CD player and some CDs.
The dedicated YouTube Music app is probably the most "official" way to do this, but I think you have to pay a subscription fee for it to really work properly. From the app's description:

It's called "YouTube Music" (appropriately enough), and might be worth looking at.
I believe that is a feature of youtube premium, and for a cheaper cost the new YouTube music. Imo just tell him to subscribe to that. If he listens to it a lot the like 10 bucks a month is not lot...
